31 Jul: Order Closing State Hwy 4; July 31, 2020
Under the authority granted to Cameron County pursuant to Texas Natural Resources Code Section 61.132 which permits the Texas General Land Office ("GLO") and the County to enter into a memorandum of agreement under the terms of which Boca Chica Beach may be closed temporarily for space launches and in conformity with the Memorandum of Agreement, contract number 2013C08253/GLO contract number 13-447-000-7916 between the County and the GLO that delineates the circumstances under which the County is authorized to close the beach and beach access points for the limited purpose of protecting Public Health and Safety during spaceflight activities and the Texas Department of Transportation authorized a Space X Roadway Closure Traffic Control Plan to perform road closures on State Highway 4;

30 Jul: Cameron County Confirms Additional COVID-19 Related Deaths
Cameron County has received confirmation of six (6) additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. The individuals include 71, 88 and 90 year-old males from Harlingen of which the 90-year old was a resident of Harlingen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There was also a 62 year-old male from Port Isabel, an 80 year-old female from San Benito and a 76 year-old female from Santa Maria. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 206. Cameron County has received confirmation of an additional 731 laboratory reports of COVID-19. This includes the following:

29 Jul: Cameron County Confirms Additional COVID-19 Related Deaths
Cameron County has received confirmation of eight (8) additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. The individuals were an 83 year-old female and a 63 year-old male from Brownsville, a 78 year-old male from Combes, 67 year-old male from Harlingen and a 58 year-old male from La Feria. There was also a 73 year-old male from Los Fresnos and an 84-year old female and a 42 year-old male from San Benito. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 200. Cameron County has received confirmation of an additional 647 laboratory reports of COVID-19. This includes the following:

Cameron County has received confirmation of ten (10) additional COVID-19 related deaths of Cameron County residents. This includes five individuals from San Benito, including a 41 year-old female and 65, 70, 81 and 96 year-old males. There was also a 69 year-old female and 82 and 84 year old males from Harlingen. There was also a 73 year-old male from Brownsville and a 72 year-old male from Santa Maria. This raises the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Cameron County to 216. Cameron County has received confirmation of an additional 816 laboratory reports of COVID-19. This includes the following:
