Effective Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 7:00 PM, Cameron County will temporarily close County Parks and Beach Access Areas. Please refer to the most recent County’s Amended Emergency Management Order for more information.
Effective 07:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2020, through July 13, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., unless there is a need to extend the closure, Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino, Jr., has ordered the closure of County Parks and County beach access areas. The following is a plan to partially reopen the Cameron County Park facilities, in accordance with the current Order issued by Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. The facilities and amenities being recommended for reopening foster activities, which can be closely monitored for compliance with current COVID-19 regulations. Park staff will work closely with law enforcement to ensure visitors are adhering to park rules and guidelines.
